Our American Girl Dollhouse

This is a video my sister's and my dollhouse. Our mom built it out of garage shelves over a year ago. It has eight rooms: a pet shop, a salon and boutique, a hospital, a montessori or school room, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom. I hope to put up a tour of each room soon.  :)

First full stop motion!

My sister got Kit for her Birthday so we made this video, our first full stop motion!

Plot:
Elizabeth is meeting up with friends to grab some food and head to a show in the park. While she's at the park waiting for her friends to get there she meets a new girl in town. The new girl says she can't eat with them since she's late and has to go. Elizabeth's friends get to the park and they grab some food and rush off to the show. There Elizabeth sees the highly acclaimed performer... the new new girl from the park!

I hope you enjoy it. It took years to make. Just kidding. It took a week to make - that includes the time it took to write it, film it, and edit it. Our software is terrible. If anyone has any ideas on an editing program let me know.

Adios! :)

Mardi Gras Mask

I'm excited about the new Cecil and Marie-Grace dolls!!!! I'm hoping I get Cecile for my birthday. To get my dolls ready I'm making them Mardi Gras masks. You could use the template for Halloween masks.

Right click the mask template below. Then save it and you can print it. Make sure it is full page size.

Making a Shave Ice Stand

Here is my shave ice stand tutorial. Mine still needs some paint on the top and on the dowels. You can take the roof off and put up a piece of paper to make a banner across the top.

A tip that I should mention:
You might want to use felt that matches the placemat you use for the roof.

Kanani craft!

I love the new shave ice stand. One of my favorite parts? The shave ice! This was a brainstorm that my mom and I had. We wanted to make something that looked like the shave ice so we thought about plastic. After thinking about different ways to make these we decided on hot glue. It's cheap and easy.

All you need is a colored plastic bag to look like the flavored syrup, hot glue, a hot glue gun, a ball/marble to make it the right shape, scissors.

You can use screw on tops to be the cups. Things like soda bottle tops, milk tops, and orange juice tops work pretty good.

You can use a white bag for ice without the flavoring.

These are so fun and easy to make.

Here is the video I did for the directions. I hope you like it.

American Girl Atlanta

Here is a video of our trip to American Girl Atlanta. We went for our birthdays. I got Ivy and my sister got Ruthie. It was really fun and the sales people were really nice. There was a ton to do in Atlanta. If you visit the Atlanta store you may want to check out Stone Mountain and the aquarium while you're in town. We were there for a few days and we got to go to all three places. There are some other places that we didn't have time to visit but it was a super fun trip.

Sugar Cookies - Perfect for Valentine's Day

My little sister did this video on how to make sugar cookies with felt, glue, and glitter.

If you want them to be more sturdy and take less time to dry you can use a hot glue gun. Put the hot glue on the cookies like icing. Then sprinkle the glitter on.
