American Girl Atlanta

Here is a video of our trip to American Girl Atlanta. We went for our birthdays. I got Ivy and my sister got Ruthie. It was really fun and the sales people were really nice. There was a ton to do in Atlanta. If you visit the Atlanta store you may want to check out Stone Mountain and the aquarium while you're in town. We were there for a few days and we got to go to all three places. There are some other places that we didn't have time to visit but it was a super fun trip.

Sugar Cookies - Perfect for Valentine's Day

My little sister did this video on how to make sugar cookies with felt, glue, and glitter.

If you want them to be more sturdy and take less time to dry you can use a hot glue gun. Put the hot glue on the cookies like icing. Then sprinkle the glitter on.

Toasty Marshmallows on a stick!

Another item to add to your campfire... marshmallows on a stick!

You'll need some foam marshmallows from the craft store and a few twigs from your yard. You can glue them on if you want them to stay on. My mom cut some with a razor and I cut some with scissors.

Tasty treats for your campfire!

What would a campfire be without s'mores?

You'll need some foam sheets, scissors, and glue dots or a hot glue gun! That's it.

Make a Campfire!

Make a campfire for your dolls!

You'll need:
$1 stick up light from the Dollar Tree
$1 pack of stones from the Dollar Tree or some from your yard
sticks from your yard
E600 glue or some other really strong glue for the rocks
glue gun and glue sticks
a red plastic bag (I used a left over Valentine's treat bag.)

American Girl Apron Craft

My mom teaches an American Girl group where we study each doll's time and do a craft to go with the study. For Kit Kittredge we made aprons. My mom drew a pattern by looking at this ad from the 1930's.
Here is a video tutorial of me using the scalloped apron pattern to make an apron.
